Prof. Violeta Jerusalem

Dr. Violeta Jerusalem is a distinguished academician with an impressive career spanning over five decades in education and management. Dr. Violeta Jerusalem holds a Doctorate in Education with the highest distinction, majoring in Educational Management from Far Eastern University, Manila, obtained in 1990. Prior to this, she completed a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instructions with High Distinction from the same university in 1985 and a Master of Business Administration in 1992. Dr. Jerusalem began her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Far Eastern University in 1964.

Dr. Jerusalem served as a faculty member at the Graduate School of Jose Rizal University, a position she has held since 2018. In 2022, she took on the role of OBE Coordinator at JRU. Additionally, Dr. Jerusalem was the Director of the International Association (IARMHD) based in Indonesia and an active moderator at international conferences sponsored by IARMHD since 2021.

Dr. Jerusalem had a notable international presence, having presented and published papers at ICEMABE in 2021 and 2022. She was also an accomplished textbook writer with published works in Research and Management.

Before these roles, Dr. Jerusalem held several prestigious positions. She was the President of GEMSCOR, an international education solutions provider, from 2014 to 2016, and served as the President of Concordia International College – GLOBAL from 2011 to 2014, a role focused on eLearning with locations in the Philippines, Canada, and South Korea. Her administrative prowess was further demonstrated during her tenure as Program Director at Sprott-Shaw Community College, both in Canada and its Philippine office at FEU-Manila from 2008 to 2011. Dr. Jerusalem also served as the Dean of the Center for Continuing Education at FEU Manila from 2009 to 2010 and the Dean of the Institute of Education at FEU Manila from 2000 to 2008. Her long-standing commitment to education was further highlighted by her role as Chairman of the Chemistry Department at FEU Manila from 1980 to 2000 and as a visiting professor at Holy Angel University's Graduate Division.
